BODY WORLDS EXHIBITION
A world-renowned science and education exhibition that takes the visitor on an unforgettable journey into the human body. It allows us to understand its complex structure, explains the functionality and interaction of individual systems and organs in an understandable way
The exhibition goes much further: looking into someone else's body we discover our own in a completely new way. All of the exhibits are real bodies, sacrificed by their owners for this educational project and painstakingly processed according to all the rules of plastination. In all, more than 19,000 people have donated their bodies for plastination since 1980. Each of them wanted us to learn more about ourselves, about our own bodies, and to realize how important a healthy lifestyle is for the normal functioning of the body
